Have you downloaded the NHS Covid app yet? If so, congratulations: you are among more than 12 million people who have done so since it went live last week. I must confess that I am not one of them, partly because my ancient phone will not be able to use all the bells and whistles available. The software is evolving so rapidly that unless you update every year or so the devices can’t keep up.
