The problem is most games tend to fall in price after release so once a game hits the bargain bin, renting the game seems silly.

if Playstation and Nintendo are charging normally for new games and they have first party triple A games this year, and Microsoft is doing the opposite and has zero triple A first party games this year, I'm gonna go with Nintendo and sony's model.

It’s wild to me how Gamepass has broken the brain of so many gamers by now, games were never free before and they shouldn’t be if you want quality over quantity. If everything became a subscription service there would be no incentive to deliver quality experiences in gaming.

Yoshida confirmed that PS Plus 'Premium' is not Premium! It is actually, PS+ 'Inadequate' as 18$/m for old games. No PC subscription. Cross-save doesn't exist for most games. BC is locked behind a paywall. I recommend if you can get PS+ Extra on a deal, try that one instead.

That's why PS Plus will never be as good as Game Pass, the greatest value in gaming. If they want to compete Sony should put more games like Stray Day1 on PS Plus.
