Brian Muyepa is suing the MOD for what would be its largest ever pay out for non-freezing cold injury
The non-freezing cold injury – which came to prominence during the First World War and is known as trench foot – left him with crippling pain in his hands and feet, following the incident in a water-filled tunnel. Mr Muyepa was discharged from the Army in January 2018. Barrister Andrew Ward told the High Court: ‘The video shows how he behaves when he is in his own environment, not thinking he is being watched.
