A UK weather expert has warned that snow could fall in just a matter of days across parts of the country as a white Christmas looks "increasingly likely".
The Exacta Weather forecaster also suggested that a white Christmas looked "increasingly likely” this year, saying: “It is now increasingly likely that we will see at least 1-2 notable wintry blasts from late November and into the first half of December, but it may turn milder or much milder later", as writes the Mirror.
In the nearer future, Met Office predicts a wet and windy November for most pasts of the country, with long periods of unsettled weather forecast. And this are set to remain largely unsettled as well as cold for the rest of this week, with Met Office Metrologist Ellie Glaisyer saying: "Low pressure still very much in charge of our weather as we head through the second part of this week. Situated out to the northwest of the UK, slowly bringing frontal systems to the UK. Mainly some showery conditions continue.
