He wasn't alone, as tens of thousands have returned to CD Projekt Red's 2020 RPG shooter following the release of Studio Trigger's Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime.put Cyberpunk 2077's peak concurrent player count—on Steam alone—at over 85,000 in the last 24 hours. Those are player numbers it hasn't seen since January of 2021, with daily highs of something more like 10-15K more normal.
We saw it last December when Arcane caused League of Legends' player count to boost by nearly 50%. Dota 2 saw boosts after the release of Dragon's Blood seasons 1 and 2. Heck, CD Projekt Red's own The Witcher
People just been waiting all this time for them to fix the game.

Then you hit bug after bug..... my first being after the first mission and pick up the gun.... yeah cant

It’s a great PC game, one of my favorites. I have a few hundred hours into it and can’t wait to play even more.
Loved the anime, saw the game was on sale & they recently released a new patch... So I bought the game

Cyberpunk 2077 is a masterpiece With the new release of RedMods a modding framework from CDPR it’s going to get a lot better, it should have released without bugs and the mod support immediately but 🤷♂️ End of the day it’s an amazing piece of art with an unmatched atmosphere

gave it another go and it actually plays ok other then the persistent save icon that takes forever to go away so the game can progress
worthit. Especially on PC (twice as much with mods) and the XSX/PS5.
Sure worked on getting my attention where lots and lots of cross promotions hadn't.
just wish the game had more customization. Especially when it comes to body modification. I mean you see people with gold plated skin in the game but you get like one or two small things you can do. it took forever for transmog to come in. Also wish there were more playstyles
this is definitely a successful show. i give it 9 out of 10.
Oh yeah
Gamers are the only fan base that will let you fail over and over and still not leave you out in the cold, even if you deserve to be. If they spent half the marketing budget on pre launch testing and a QC team to squash the bugs that game would have been as good as they claimed.
Not... Because it was just updated with important quality-of-life features? That's why I started it up again recently
