British broadcaster Sky is launching a TV that streams content via the internet, removing the need for a satellite dish.One expert said it would put the broadcaster in direct competition with TV makers such as Samsung and Sony.

Not much cop if you have to buy a new tv.
But will it work without a TV transmitter so that those of us in parts of the North East can watch TV again ? Bilsdale transmitter burned down 2 months ago. We don’t all have high speed broadband only guaranteed snail pace that can’t cope with everyone trying to stream TV.
Sticking with my IPTV thanks£1 a week.
So last years and older Samsung QLED 4K and not NEO QLED 8k then.
Wait a minute, they are moving from satellite dish to a dedicated TV.... Not an app so you can watch on a second TV, your phone or tablet.... What year is it in Sky HQ?
