A BBC "broadcasting titan" who helped create the legendary 'golden era' of television has sadly died aged 98.Director General paid tribute to Sir Paul's "towering career in television – not just with the BBC – but across the industry".

Under his watch, both flourished." Fellow television producer Richard Marson added: "Sir Paul Fox deserved the overused term ‘legend’ - he was a broadcasting Titan.
A former Yorkshire Television employee wrote: "Sir Paul Fox has died at the age of 98. My favourite boss when he was the Managing Director at Yorkshire Television.
