'There are some people who are never going to change their opinion, and it could well be that Mr Trump is one of them.'

The expert said while the world was now more aware of environmental issues there were some people who would ‘never change their opinions.’

He added the world has a responsibility to preserve nature for future generations but to do that it was important to elect people who sought the truth. ‘But there are some people who are never going to change their opinion, and it could well be that Mr Trump is one of them. Sir David urged politicians and business leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, to protect the natural world.
