Wasn’t the point that the boys were idiots and social outcasts? They weren’t exactly presented as role models and I think that was clear. I thought the humour was in how ridiculous the boys were in their attitudes rather than endorsing the attitudes themselves.

A non story. The Inbetweeners was loosely based on incidents from the writers upbringing and I can say 100% that this was my experience of being a teenage boy. All of it. The comedy is in laughing at how stupid teenage boys are

I don’t get why comedians and actors who were in great shows keep having to defend themselves. If that was me I’d say “who cares it was funny” N4th4nWW

Havent laughed at anything this much since last watching the inbetweeners. Boys will always be boys for a small proportion of their lives, show it or pretend it doesnt happen.
