Vandals smashed the window of a sneaker shop in Nottingham with a fire extinguisher just 24 hours after a nearby tea shop was targeted. The front window of OFFseason in Bridlesmith Gate was vandalised bya group of three people at 2.30am on Sunday, March 10.
However, security footage from the tea shop does not show clearly whether the same people were involved in both incidents. Jack Montgomery, 20, who manages OFFseason said: "For us, it's not the end of the world and we're trying to make the best of a bad situation. Eva Webster, 49, store manager at Bird and Blend Tea Co, says this is the first time it has happened in all the years the shop has been there. She said: "We hope it's just some random drunken folk and not targeted.
Ramone Croft, 23, who has worked full-time at OFFseason for six months, says he does not know the intentions of the offenders. He said: "We assume they were trying to steal products but we are not sure what their motive was.
