Football fans from all clubs have been told to unite against UEFA following the treatment Liverpool fans were subject to at the Champions League final.
The clash between the Reds and Real Madrid was set to kick off at 8pm on Saturday, but was delayed by over half an hour as supporters were unable to get into the Stade de France.UEFA had originally claimed that the kick-off time had been pushed back due toLiverpool later disputed this, calling for an investigation with numerous reports of the heavy congestion caused by the poor management of fans.
There are multiple videos circulating across social media demonstrating the experience fans endured as they tried to get in to watch their team.fans being sprayed in the face while trying to scan their matchday tickets through the barriers. Merseyside Police had officers in Paris to monitor the events outside the stadium and hailed the ‘exemplary’ behaviour of the ‘vast majority’ of Liverpool fans.
A statement read: “As with all European matches officers from Merseyside were deployed in France to work in an observatory and advisory capacity with the local officers, and they have reported the vast majority of fans behaved in an exemplary manner, arriving at turnstiles early and queueing as directed and their observations will be passed on to the relevant authorities as part of the debrief for the game.
Shame there were no such calls for unity when Man City were wrongly accused by Uefa.

Its a nice idea but Liverpool need to prove themselves as a fanbase that don't get in to trouble first. There is a simple history with this club having too many fans at games without tickets (Klopp even encouraged it). This plus alcohol is a dangerous mix.
