The hard work carried out by those at Sheridan Lifts is making a massive difference ad SheridanLifts

Unprotected lift shafts can be a main contributor to passive fire if preventative measures are not taken, allowing the spread of fire and toxic fumes to be spread within a building should it catch fire. The main means of fighting a fire can also be compromised if the lift lobbies and shafts are not protected, preventing emergency services from utilising the firefighting lift and accessing the upper floors.

Sheridan Lifts engineers have multi-disciplinary training under recognised certifications. This allows them to carry out passive fire stopping surveys and the installation of certified products providing protection against passive fire in buildings. Tony Sheridan, company CEO at Sheridan Lifts said: “With lifts being a critical service to most buildings our client base includes many private and public sector organisations, I feel it is our responsibility to take the lead and do our bit to ensure we are up to speed on any developments that affect our industry.

The new addition to the business allows Sheridan to offer multi-disciplined services and streamline the process of obtaining multiple quotations. Sheridan Lifts group of companies provides a one-stop-shop for key assets on construction schemes across the UK.
