Sheffield United are planning a summer move for out-of-contract Leeds United star Luke Ayling , according to reports. The experienced full-back is set to leave Elland Road this summer, and has already played his last game for the club.
But reports in the Sun suggest that Blades manager Chris Wilder is also keen to bring the 32-year-old to Bramall Lane. It's looking highly likely that Sheffield United will be back in the Championship next season, and Wilder is keen to bring in experience to help fire a promotion bid. Carrick has been impressed by his contribution to Boro since his January arrival, but admitted it was 'impossble' to talk about his future at this stage. “I can’t sit here for now and give a definite answer. It’s impossible for me to do that right now "But for sure, we’re working on a number of things. It would be unfair on the individuals - not just Luke but other boys as well - it’s not as simple as just a yes or no from me now. We’re looking to do certain things to make this squad as strong as we possibly can."
