My tip on how I haven’t bounced back: Talk to a psychologist about it and find out why you started smoking in the first place. Then continue with the sessions, the world - at least yours - can be a better place if people start by trying to understand themselves.

Should smoking not be illegal? What purpose does it serve, it only to harm those who smoke and those around them. It's 2021, cigarettes are a proven carcinogenic.
1.Spend more time with family 2. Avoid smokers 3. Add new healthy and recreational task in your daily routin(sport, gym etc) 4. Switch to cafein ie take tea and coffee 1. Be less ambitious😊

Just stop. Decide midway through the day. Use Nicorette Microtabs. If possible, keep the old pack with one (or what is left of the pack) and keep hidden in a drawer you seldom use. Pyschologically it stops the pining and craving. Know that withdrawal only lasts for 3 days.
I quit smoking in 2001 with the help of French herbal cigarettes (NTB), and it lasted 14 years untill 2015. Unfortunately, these herbal cigarettes are no longer available in Germany - otherwise I would probably try again. 😒
