She then tells staff she will to a cashpoint, but never returns – resulting in restaurants in Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole all being scammed in the last year.
‘It doesn’t seem to be the first time they’ve pulled this trick, but if the community gets together, it would be nice if it’s the last time they get away with it.’ Mr Simons is giving the woman a chance to come pay her £80 bill – which the restaurant plans to match and donate to Bournemouth Foodbank.
