Season Seven, and all of its Captaincy features, will now arrive in August for Sea of Thieves:

The Sea of Thieves team has announced its decision to slightly delay Season Seven and all its Captaincy features into August, to ensure everything will be"ship-shape."

Season Seven has been delayed from July 21st and is now set to launch on August 4th, with all of the Captaincy features that players have been waiting for."We believe Captaincy will transform the experience of playing Sea of Thieves, adding deeper meaning and history to every session and every encounter out on the seas, along with the much-requested ability to own and finally name your ship,"executive producer Joe Neate.

Season Seven will now arrive on August 4th, and Neate reminds players that the next Adventure, A Hunter's Cry, won't be long after, and will kick off on August 18th.
