Scousers on edge of seat at end of A Place in the Sun search

The property expert was helping John and Carol find their dream home in Tenerife on today's episode. The happy couple met in a pub in LIverpool and were looking for a property in the sun for their large extended family.

John opted for property five, which was a one bedroom apartment on Gold del Sur priced at £128,571. However, he admitted he was going to start with a "cheeky" offer of £110,000 to begin the bidding process. The estate agent had held discussions with the seller and decided to not put the offer to the owners, which sparked John to go back with an offer of £125,000.
