Christine Bovill, whose sellout shows Piaf, Paris and Piaf to Pop have toured internationally, will perform in Glasgow next month at a concern organised by International Solidarity Movement activist Mick Bellmooney.
“Like many people around the world, I’ve done charity work and have given my voice to line-ups for Palestinian causes for the past 12 years,” said Bovill. Bovill, who grew up in Cumbernauld and now lives in Troon, is known for her unique interpretations of French songs. Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
