A lucky Scots community are celebrating after winning a combined jackpot of £3.2 million on the People's Postcode Lottery. More than 100 neighbours in Seaton, Aberdeen, shared the combined prize pot.
The pensioner says he isn't sure how he wants to spend the money but added that he wanted to treat himself to a new guitar as he enjoys playing country music. He added: “I just like to sing to myself, it’s my hobby.” Karen Noble, 56, and Gordon Massie, 64, a couple of 23 years, both played with two tickets and netted a combined £55,844.
The couple said they were pleased to see lots of familiar faces amongst the winners with Gordon adding that the win will be big for the neighbourhood: “It’s tremendous. It’s a great community and a great community spirit.”
