A mum who struggled to get into a dodgem car shed more than 100lb after doctors warned her that she was too fat. Stella Houliotis had struggled with her weight for years and her 12-year-old son Krish had never seen her slim.
Because of her medical issues and a family history of heart disease, her GP suggested the Weight Watchers health referral scheme and in September last year she began their eating plan. At her first weigh-in she tipped the scales at 19st 2lb. The pain she had been experiencing has gone and she has more confidence. Stella enjoys activities like going to trampoline park Flip Out with Krish and no longer fears going to “the shows”.
In September 2022 she was a size 24 but now that she’s a size 14, her clothes options are greater. She has also ditched her normal clothes palette of black for a rainbow of colour.
