Is it safe to travel to Italy? Latest advice following coronavirus outbreakI would not. I am stuck here because I was visiting parents and the area where I am has NO cases, but frankly why risk it? Go to Portugal instead! + the Italian government needs to be taught a harsh lesson for its inefficiency. Iran had no case a week ago and out of nowhere they are 12 deaths today (more than Japan or S Korea). Looking at the map, tropical countries r the safest rite now if u wanna risk traveling at all. Italy found what was looking for. No tests = no cases. Do you really think that just purely from a statistical standpoint that US might have less cases reported? In UK 3000 test have been carried out so far, Italy since the very beginning run 3000 test a day.
