Last week Health Secretary Matt Hancock said the Delta variant makes up 91% of new cases and experts say these new symptoms can make COVID-19 feel 'more like a bad cold' – especially for young people. The issue has now been highlighted on social media by councillor Michelle Vince who urged parents to look out for all symptoms, not just those listed in any letters schools send out.'Whilst it listed the symptoms of covid to look out for, it did not give the symptoms of the Delta variant which make up 91% of new cases of which headache, sore throat and fever are the newly listed main symptoms to look for.
