Saturday Night Takeaway fans emotional as Scots man given gift from late wife

Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway viewers were left in a flood of tears as one Scottish viewer was given a gift from his late wife.

Alongside his two young children, Dec addressed Jordan, telling him he was live on national TV and that he was one of the winning viewers of the week. As cameras returned to the studio, Dec battled back tears as he tried to proceed with the show. With his voice cracking, he said: “The happiest minute of the week is over. There you go, everybody. See you soon!”

Those watching along at home were also floored by the emotional moment. One fan on X wrote: "Jesus Christ that happiest minute of the week needs a new name. I'm in bits." Last month, Ant opened up to a magazine to explain why he and Dec had decided to walk away from their weekend show. He said: "We've both got children that we need to spend time with for a little bit.
