We did it with the TSA after Sept 11. Before that many airports had little or no security at all. Passenger searches were not standardized. I hope we learn a lesson here. Guns arent going away any time soon. Too many people own them. We need a national security for all schools.
These incidents happen even in states that have passed strict gun controls. New York is an example. We need security and/or police officers at every school in America! The same way there are armed guards at every airport, bank, casino, etc...this is a massive security failure!
