Thankfully our national housing emergency is finally taking its rightful place as one of the top issues in this general election. Over the course of recent weeks – and years – it has risen up the agenda for politicians and public alike. And it’s easy to see why. Just this week, Shelter revealed that 135,000 children in Britain are homeless. The highest number in 12 years, it means that by the end of today, another 183 children will no longer have a permanent roof over their heads.
Sajid Javid got it wrong in the banking crisis too and who paid for it - not him.
Pathetic headline! Can't journalists call lies, lies and liars, liars? This was an extraordinarily bad lie! There's a big difference between a mistake and a deliberate lie.
He lied...
And half of the homeless in London are foreigners.
Has it been rising among locals?
What else has been rising since 2010? The percentage of the country's population thats not ethnically British.
Maybe grow a pair and call it what it is - the other papers are. I’m all for being fair, but when the other papers are being partisan you need to step up your game! It’s Clinton v trump all over again!
'Got it wrong' indeed. Not lying then?
He knows. They’re just lying and it’s going unchallenged. They talk about the past decade of their misrule like it was all done by someone else.
Stop shifting the blame and just get it sorted please! The people of the entire UK have just had about enough of politicians shifting the blame! Sort it please!
He didn't 'get it wrong' He fucking lied Learn the difference
ToryLies Torybankers
He didn't get it wrong. He lied.
He didn’t get it wrong, he lied. It’s all they know how to do.
“Politician gets it wrong.” Another phrase I wish I’d acquired the copyright for.
