Sadiq Khan has called on ministers to grant him powers to freeze private rents in London, amid a push by Labour over cost of living issues which also saw the party reiterate its call for the scrapping of the planned increase in national insurance contributions.in London as a way to ease fast-rising costs, but has been rebuffed by ministers.
Comrade Khan who grew up in a housing estate (financed by the taxpayers)… does everything to ensure that there are more homeless people on London's streets…
SadiqKhan so many properties left empty in London for obvious reasons.. and the estate agents are charging tenants with all sort of fees and tenants have got no protection at all against the landlord and these agents also use all sort of methods to push the price.. it is a big mess!
Rents should be pegged to the LHA rate for all properties. Empty properties which are suitable to be lived in should be rented out.
