The school is part of a federation with St Hilda’s School in Ampleforth seven miles away.

That is bad news for a lovely village school Very sad.
The demographics of rural areas have changed across large parts of the country. Losing the school will surely take the heart out of the village, but if there are very few children and parents have chosen to send them elsewhere the school has no future. A shame, but inevitable.
