Royal Mail is to hire a record 33,000 temporary workers for the Christmas period – two-thirds more than usual – to handle the UK festive parcel frenzy triggered by the surge in online shopping.

This is very worrying. I know they need extra workers to get the post out, but the Mail Centre I work in isn't Covid secure as it is. Add another 200 - 300 people to that mix and it'll be a disaster.
all these people in crisis and dying of cover, millions on the run for poverty and political reason and we think spending ...lets buy nothing, celebrate each other and be together were we can and share food with homeless and the poor for a REAL Christmas. Love overdose this year!
