It's been 50 years since the legality of abortion was determined by votes, so the electoral implications of returning this power to the states are difficult to predict.
Among independent voters, 45% would be more likely to support pro-choice candidates compared to 23% who favoured anti-abortion ones. There is also, however, the potential that some on the left may be disillusioned by what they see as the lack of effort by their side to codify abortion rights before the Supreme Court decision came down.
Control of state legislatures are in play in states like Arizona, Michigan, Colorado, Nevada and Minnesota. Democrats this year are seeking to hold on to the governorships of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Kansas, while Republicans are defending Arizona, Texas and Florida. Meanwhile, control of Congress, which could pass legislation protecting or banning abortion nationally, is also up for grabs. Democrats have a slim majority in the House of Representatives and are tied 50-50 in the Senate, maintaining control only through Vice-President Kamala Harris' tie-breaking vote.
According to Republicans, abortion is an act of killing. But its ok by them for people to carry out guns 🔫 and killed innocent citizens in the name of mental health and scoot free. My question is, is it not the same act of killing? Cause they both uses instruments.
Idiots
Reversing Roe vs Wade wasn't the goal, it's merely the beginning of a tyrannical religious take over. Basically a conservative catholic extremist version of Sharia Law.
It’s not murder it’s survival for the mother because we all know men don’t take responsibility knowing they can just walk away ,a woman should be able to do as she wishes with her own Body
Shame Shame Shame on US Supreme Court. Dawn with right wing judges.
Woman will have to unnecessarily suffer.
The banner says it all, abortion us murder! Cant the USA adopt contraception to reduce the huge numbers of aborted children. Current estimates suggest the numbers since the Roe/Wade ruling run into millions!
Never mind ‘mid-terms’, it’s going to be millions of ‘full-terms’ of unwanted births.

Surely, if women insist on aborting other children, the Pfizer jab will do the trick?
Nada
Disturbing to see the one quote BBC got from the US Senate was from Josh 'White Power' Hawley.
