More roadworks will be put in place on the newly-opened Colliery Way, it has been announced. The route, previously called the Gedling Access Road, is a 3.8km bypass from Mapperley Plains to the Colwick Loop Road.
Months later, the site compound area off Lambley Lane is being taken down as part of the demobilisation of the construction site that has been in place since January 2020. As part of the site demobilisation, Nottinghamshire County Council has informed the public that temporary fencing that has been in place along the route to "keep the site safe and secure needs to be taken down".
