Jesus. An eating disorder is not a choice. It’s not a diet. It’s a serious psychiatric disorder, and it’s actually really tough to fight. Maybe learn about it before saying ignorant things like “why don’t they just eat?”.

all these clueless people in the comments...eating disorders are not a choice!! how can u actually be dumb enough to think that?

It sometimes about the WYSATI. It is about the trigger that causes the outcome wether it is obesity or anorexia. nutrition environmental socialmediamarketing and bodydismorphia etc. listening parents

poor diets down at the food bank-why is the BBC getting involved now?

How irritating. Stay away from Hospital and introduce some self-control.

It's all those Food Banks dispensing food that people would be better off cooking themselves, straight off the Market. (If they had stayed in school long enough to complete their education.

We should all be turning up at our local hospitals complaining we have been poisoned by Halal & Kosher food. We are being forced to eat food that has been religiously killed. 😜

Obesity kills more people than starvation...we have to die somehow🤷‍♀️

Great expectations: 'The quest for perfection has cannibalised my identity'Perfectionism is associated with a long list of psychological disorders, the problem is notoriously hard to treat and it’s on the rise This is a really interesting read, I work at a mental health nurse and definitely put myself into ‘self oriented’ category. It’s a huge amount of pressure and standards on top of massive work demands. Burn out is a big issue for me. ☹️
