Ring doorbell captures moment man is shot at in street

Police were called to New Chester Road in the Rock Ferry area of the Wirral after reports of gunshots being fired on the main road. Officers got a call at 10.30pm, but they think the shooting happened 25 minutes before that.

Just after this, you can hear three gunshots. A third person, who can also be seen running, comes into view of the camera and looks like they're following the other two people closely behind, reports the Liverpool Echo. When the ECHO got to the scene, part of New Chester Road, which is a main road connecting Birkenhead to Hooton, was blocked off. Lots of officers were inside the blocked-off area.

Top news stories today A fingertip search was carried out in the area and officers were seen looking over the walls of peoples homes and along pavements. They were also checking CCTV footage as they went door-to-door to speak to residents.
