Katie Price could be left virtually penniless as well as homeless if she is forced to move out of her so-called Mucky Mansion because of the sheer scale of her financial problems, MailOnline can reveal An expert who examined the deeds to the 19-bedroom Sussex mega house told us: 'Her finances are as much of a mess as her house itself - she has negligible equity at best and may even still owe money on the house even after selling it. It's a real disaster.'
She even claimed she was unaware that she had been made bankrupt a second time, saying: 'Apparently, I'm in another one. I didn't even know about that. I read it in the paper..' Land Registry records seen by Mailonline confirm the cash-strapped glamour model turned TV celebrity and author apparently has little or no equity in her run-down country home in West Sussex
It acquired the nickname Mucky Mansion after it was regularly seen with piles of rubbish inside and out - and her various pets were able to regularly foul the interior. Price is seen for the first time since being given an eviction notice. She has two outstanding mortgages on the 19-room property, meaning that any proceeds from a sale must go to pay her lenders first
'As she has just been made bankrupt again, I can't imagine that the situation has changed to any great extent'. Price owed the debt in 2015 to a legal firm called Archerfield Partners LLP which describes itself on its website as 'a boutique law firm based in Westminster specialising in litigation and a broad range of media entertainment and tax matters'.
It even featured in a Channel 4 show called Katie Price's Mucky Mansion, showing her trying to transform her 'vandalised and uninhabitable' house into 'a forever home'. Rooms inside have also been shown in a state of disrepair while piled high with clutter and boxes of possessions. Price who was a regular on Loose Women and appeared on I'm a Celebrity and Celebrity Big Brother told listeners on the latest episode of her podcast: 'My house isn't being repossessed.'
