A resident of new £9 million Scots flats has told how they are 'living in fear' after finding 'bloody needles' outside her home. Danya Mackenzie says her Glasgow new-build are riddled with anti-social behaviour and incidents of drug-use.
"Residents are finding used and bloody needles in and outside the building, there is evidence of fires being lit, people using the building as a toilet. There have been thefts of bikes. "I struggle with a neurological condition so it's scary for me, but there are families with kids in here. People are terrified coming home knowing they won't know what they'll find."
Danya continued: "It's gotten so bad that everyone in the building is banding together to fight the rent increases. We're paying more for less services than nearby buildings while residents are fearing for their safety and they are claiming the raises are for improved services - it's baffling.
