Republican Joni Ernst accuses party of cancel culture over Liz Cheney ousting

reporters: “I feel it’s OK to go ahead and express what you feel is right to express and, you know, cancel culture is cancel culture no matter how you look at it.“Cancel culture” has become a shibboleth of the modern Republican party, repeatedly invoked when public figures become embroiled in controversy regarding opinions or statements deemed to be racist, sexist or otherwise unacceptable.

I have heard this ‘cancel culture’ cliche swatted around like a shuttlecock for months now and I realized I had no f-ing clue of what it actually means. One of those phrases that becomes viral so fast, that I hated it immediately and paid no mind.. Looked it up. Really? Overrated

FINALLY, at least one member of the GOP Senate speaks out!

As far as I am concerned, any national GOP politician who does not specifically, publicly come to Chaney's defense in advance of tomorrow's vote is complicit in and de facto supportive of the Big Lie. Fence sitting is over.
