Renewable energy sources provided more electricity to UK homes and businesses than fossil fuels for the first time over the last quarter, according to new research.
Should nuclear not be in this equation? It’s virtually 100% renewable and a huge source of power.
Everyone saying good news, but how many actually use renewable energy? I have been using renewable energy for two or three years now... I took a chance leaving the big six to join Bulb, I am glad that I did though.

GREAT news! Hope the two biggest polluters, USA & China , will follow suit & contribute to reducing the world's dependency on FossilFuel.
Good news if true. Considering oil and gas contributed to 44.2% of the energy production in Q2 and all renewables contributed only 35.5%, that’s some serious increase in renewable producers. Intrigued to see if this is also a result of a cut back from using the fossil fuels.
Nothing to worry about then eh. The rest of the world will see that and see it can be done.
