Relatives of Brits on coronavirus-hit cruise ship plea for evacuation

Relatives of passengers on the Grand Princess cruise ship have pleaded for them to be evacuated before any become seriously ill. California Governor said ship will not dock in San Francisco after 21 people on board tested positive for the coronavirus. Nineteen crew members and two passengers are among the cases. Only 46 out of the 3,500 people on board have been tested so far.

Why did they get on the ship? Wasn’t anyone following the need re: diamond princess, they couldn’t have paid me to get on there.

Passenger countries should send charter aircraft to the US to rescue their citizens whether infected or not. At the time of the Diamond Princess, Japan asked US,UK and other countries to send charter aircraft to rescue their people, but US UK other countries refused .

It’s a floating incubator - get these people off this ship, deal with the issues at hand , this is not a popularity contest, it’s a humanitarian issue this administration is failing miserably to address.

Can we just keep Trump supporters on that ship? It IS kind of what they were asking for..

But the numbers 🤷

If my family was on there, I would want them on land and not in such tight quarters.
