The children of key workers and those who were vulnerable continued to attend school throughout the crisis, but Monday saw more than two million invited back. The change reportedly follows warnings by teaching unions that many schools are too small to reopen while maintaining social distancing.

I reckon if the weather had been bad almost all these kids would have been sent back to school. The damage these parents are doing to their kids by keeping them away I know as I caught Typhoid as a kid and was kept out of school for months. I never caught up

But the teachers don’t mind going in to shops where ppl have been made to work through out.

Not a parent but have nieces and nephews. The children should have stayed in school IMO. Period. They need to go back. And we think there is a depression and suicide issue in our young people from before? Just wait.

No schools in Scotland will open until august as we finish this month for summer holidays and when they return it will be half the school in a few days then work from home and vice versa

It’s truly awful that amount of time missed, my daughter is already struggling at school and now to miss months is hard.. but it would be harder if she caught coronavirus and couldn’t have her mummy there. We have all the time in the world. Why rush September it is for us!
