This is 10 year old news. Even had one in a tree in our small garden today.

Saw one a few years ago at Winchester Hill , near Portsmouth

I live on the edge of a town, close by miles of fields. We have a red kite flies about so often, that we almost regard him as a pet. I always spend time watching him. Awesome.

The view from my garden last month. People who complain about the numbers of red kites are, sadly used to seeing a sky empty of birds.

Go to Hertford, there's billions of the fuckers.

Great to hear

Lovely to see these, we've seen a pair in Ashford surrey and also in Ealing in the last couple of months

Moved into West Drayton in 2006 and never saw them, now it is unusual not to see them every day. We have rabbits and we used to let them run free in the garden... wouldn’t dream of doing that now!

They are no-longer welcome in europe! brexiteffect

Fabulous news to see this morning! Well done to all involved.

Too many of them now.

See them every day in Cookham Berkshire, an amazing sight.

Saw them this weekend, beautiful creatures

No mention of the success that Wales had with the increase in the red kite population.....some time ago

Spotted a pair over Derwentside yesterday

TastesofAnglia Lucky enough to see them everyday.

I see them on my way to work. Amazing.

jimbob1965 Thanks to you as well :)

I used to drive up to Rockingham to watch the red kites, I can now occasionally see kites ( and buzzards) flying over my house in Northampton.

Tory-voting ‘red wall’ areas have most to lose from a flawed obesity strategy, analysis revealsMinisters preparing to reveal new obesity strategy should consider former Labour supporting areas says Health Foundation People in the Home Counties already treat sugar with the same disdain they were trained to reserve for fat forty years ago. They have always lived a more sedentary existence than northerners where more work involves physical exertion. That has bred a desire for fast calories. I get that these red wall areas are supposedly suffering most but I don't think the article covered why whatever the Tories are doing is flawed. What are they actually planning to introduce? :s Yeah I expect in your world they would be.
