The Queen sacked an Australian PM in 1975 when he lost his majority by 1 seat. But it wont be the Queen per se that does the terminating. 800 advisors on the Privy Council will make that choice and upholding the law will be their prime consideration
It's a fair point. If HMQ has a chief minister who demonstrably no longer has the confidence of the HouseofCommons, what option is there other than to demand the return of the seals of office and seek another, more appropriate, candidate? But we are *so* far into hypothesis now.
