MARCUS Rashford has tonight blasted Tory MPs for making kids feel like they 'don't matter' after losing his bid to get the nation's most vulnerable youngsters free school meals this winter.
He finished the post: "These children are the future of this country. They are not just another statistic. In just 45 minutes, 7,000 people had shared his message on the social network. He also released a powerful post on Instagram, saying: "If we do it right, we can change what the future looks like."said: "There's a lot of children that simply aren't eating because there's no food. The only time they are eating is in school."If you have things you care about keep them close to your heart.
The vote today called for free school meals to be extended over each school holiday from October half-term to Easter 2021.put massive pressure on Boris Johnson to help kids entitled to free school meals get vouchers worth £15 every week of half-term and the summer holidays.“It’s not for schools to regularly provide food to pupils during the school holidays."Mr Rashford, who has been made an MBE for his services to vulnerable children, had urged his 3.
Looking forward to Marcus Rashford donating £20 million to help out as hes so concerned.Only a blip in his £80 million fortune.Has he offered to pay for all the meals yet as he cares so much ?
If the dads are tracked and traced they can pay
Why is anyone listening to this person? ...and why are taxpayers footing the bill for school meals nowadays? Feeding children was always the responsibilty of parents, not the state. Everything has gone wrong in this alleged 'multicultural' experiment.
Children are the responsibility of the parents in the first instance, not the tax payer.
Give some of your money you a mint walking and it’s not because your black just thought I’d squeeze that in!
How can people be so stupid as to think its a good idea to give children something at a time when they cant access it. No good having free food at school while there on a break is it.
Maybe he could help out from his approx £80 million fortune? That would defo feed someone
He's missing the point. They think it's up to the parents to care and show they matter and feed them, not the state.
MarcusRashford - don’t give up your fight for our kids. The 322 MPs who voted down this motion are supposed to represent their constituents not Tory Party interests.
He could always pay if he feels so strongly about it.
Gets an MBE for 6 months of pushing his agenda, while others have been doing the same for years without recognition. Would have been better off making sure his friends don’t use high paid accountants to lower tax bills and maybe the Government would be able to fund “his” project.
Surely no parent would let their kid go hungry? I would go hungry long before I let either of mine. Where there's a will there's a way and there are options available to you as a parent so if you let your kids go hungry that's on you.
Aye ok son feck off now and get back to the football. The government only has so much money to dish around and EVERYONE seems to want some. And we common folk can only afford to pay so much in taxes, other costs and have KIDS OF OUR OWN TO FEED!
Look love the mothers are probably spending it on them self not the kids so ur wasting ur money
I thought that free school meals are only for school times and not half term. Why can't rashford use his own money. Why is he having an MBE for this. They should look at some of the parents who are refusing to feed their own children.
Mr Rashford needs to ask a Granny what it was like to pay for WW2 Because come next year this £2trillion mess needs to be paid for and guess who is picking up the tab. Good Luck
Hey Marcus, how about you sell your car and give the money to the cause you want everyone else to pay for?
Parents who can't afford to feed their children because of the reasons below, get them fed for free at School anyway! Why should people who can afford to feed them get the free meals? Does Marcus Rashford actually know this?
Why doesn't he lobby his mega rich premier league colleagues to donate to this cause? I am just an ordinary working class guy. I can't afford to pay this extra money.
Whilst driving his fancy car and probably on route to a fancy restaurant.....yeah right
Free SCHOOL meals. 🤷🏻♂️
Parents are given enough support from the government to feed their own children some not all may spend their child benefit money on other things ps i do have kids too
Feed your own kids. Sit down Marcus.
Can’t expect better from a government led by Boris Johnson
What an inspiring young man. I see some hope for the future. ✌️
I have 2 children..... id like another one..... but i can't have one because i cant afford another..... simple
Woeful.

I feel it is more important to have a family meal and that families income should be at a level that can support this.
