Rangers transfer news as Harry Souttar 'wants' move and Davies loan option named

Misfit Harry Souttar reportedly wants a move away from Leicester City before the transfer deadline amid links with a move to Rangers.

It's a deal that is expected to run until the very last minute of the window, but the Leicester Mercury report that defender "wants" to leave the English Championship side this summer. However, the report notes that offloading fringe stars Souttar, Daniel Iversen, Boubakary Soumare, and Patson Daka before the transfer deadline could prove to be a "big ask" for the Leicester powerbrokers and some players could be "disappointed.

Go Radio claim that Stoke City are interested in a move for the former Liverpool defender before the window closes. A loan move to the Championship has been touted for the out of favour 28-year-old - having found success with Preston previously in the English second tier. It's believed Leon King could also leave on loan which looks increasingly likely if another defender arrives.
