Rachael Blackmore made history at Cheltenham in 2022 and her Gold Cup win has been voted as the festival's most iconic.
With Blackmore promoting her charity to raise money for injured jockeys, the survey was released alongside a short film called Icons of the Gold Cup. The project was launched in November last year at Haydock Park for the Betfair Chase with an initial £100,000 donation. And with every win Blackmore rides up to Grand National Day, a further £5,000 has been donated - with a whopping £80,000 added to the pot to take the total to £180,000.
All the proceeds will be shared evenly between the Injured Jockeys Fund and Irish Injured Jockeys and could make a huge difference to so many lives of jockets affected.
