Fabio Quartararo is 'not confident' that Yamaha understands how to improve its troubled M1 MotoGP bike after crashing out of the FrenchGP sprint race on Saturday.

Fabio Quartararo admits he is ‘not confident’ Yamaha understands how it can improve its poorly performing MotoGP bike after crashing out of the French Grand Prix sprint race.Yamaha has been in decline since Quartararo won the championship in 2021, the Frenchman winning fewer races in 2022 and unsuccessfully defending his title, while in 2023 he has scored just one podium in five rounds.

Asked by Motorsport.com if he feels confident that Yamaha actually understands how to improve its bike, he replied: “Confident?
