Public face £1,000 fine or jail if they refuse coronavirus tests or quarantine

POLICE could jail or fine people £1,000 if they refuse to be tested or quarantined for deadly coronavirus.

Published on the government's website, the Health Protection Regulations 2020 says people can be held for up to 14 days in a secure hospital or any other suitable location, reports theAnd if they leave before the isolation period is up, they could be arrested and taken into custody.
