PS5 and Xbox Series X will cost record-breaking £500 at launch, experts warn

THE hotly-anticipated new Xbox and PlayStation consoles will cost up to £500 when they launch later this year, according to experts.

You do realise consoles are usually sold at a loss with software making up for sales profit. While time goes on the hardware becomes cheaper to manufacture allowing BOMB cost to become profitable? They're not going to sale for more than build cost. Research this.

If the PS5 has backwards compatibility from the PS1 then it’s worth it.
