The Duke of Cambridge has paid tribute to first responders helping communities deal with 'truly horrendous' flooding in Australia, the worst the country has seen since 2011.

Prince William heard first-hand about the impact of floods which have devastated areas in and around New South Wales during a call on Thursday. This year's flooding in Australia is considered to be the worst since 2011.
