The Princess of Wales publicly said back in March that she had been diagnosed with cancer in tests conducted after she underwent planned abdominal surgery in January. The Princess, 42, shares three children with her husband.
At the time Her Royal Highness said the diagnosis had come as a shock to her young family and explained the words of comfort she used to explain the diagnosis to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. In her statement then, she said: “As I have said to them; I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body and spirits.
He added that George, Charlotte and Louis were "very jealous" of his trip, and said he may bring them to Cornwall later in the year. The trip marks William's first official visit to the Isles of Scilly since becoming Duke of Cornwall, a title he holds in addition to his Prince of Wales title.Receive newsletters with the latest news, sport and what's on updates from the Liverpool ECHO by signing up here
