Following the death of the Duke of Edinburgh on April 9, the puppies have taken on an even more important role in the Queen’s life.
A famed dog lover, the Queen has had more than 30 corgis since she was given her first on her 18th birthday in 1944. Prince Andrew, 61, who lives near Windsor Castle, has been one of the Queen’s family members to have stepped up to support her as she grieves the death of Philip.
