BREAKING: Premier League footballer arrested on suspicion of sexual assault

A Premier League player has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault following an incident at a Brighton nightclub in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The Premier League club said in a statement: ‘Brighton & Hove Albion are aware that one of its players is assisting police with the investigation of an alleged offence.
